2. PERSONNEL TRAINING
The Human Resources Department continually organizes and conducts training programs to promote personnel development and enhance productivity, so as to meet the Company objectives and also achieve individual job satisfaction.

This is demonstrated by the fact that from a total of 150 Head Office employees, 60 are women, i.e. 40 %.
Considering the fact that “Hellenic Defence Systems” is a heavy industry, with an emphasis on the production process, it is noteworthy that 23.48% or 228 out of a total workforce of 971, are employees with degrees from Universities or Technological Educational Institutions.
3.2 COOPERATION WITH THE GREEK EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS
EAS cooperates with Universities, Higher Educational Institutions and Institutes of Vocational Training (“IEK”), by offering students/trainees the opportunity to acquire the working experience required, under the guidance/instruction of experienced executives.
3.3 COOPERATION WITH FOREIGN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS
Within the frame of its Corporate Social Responsibility practices, the Company also accepts foreign University students as trainees and by doing so it gives them the opportunity to gain the experience of living, working and learning in Greece. In turn, an equal number of Greek students are given the opportunity to be trained abroad.
3.4 COOPERATION WITH THE GREEK MANPOWER EMPLOYMENT ORGANIZATION "OAED"
In cooperation with “OAED”, EAS operates a Vocational Secondary School (“TEE”) for mechanics at the Hymettus Plant. While attending the 3 year school courses, the students also have the opportunity to be trained on-the-job as apprentices in the Hymettus Plant facilities.
