There is no doubt that the international financial turmoil has had a global impact and especially in Greece. Thus, new corporate actions are required to ensure the continuous viability and progress of the Hellenic Defence Systems (HDS-EAS).
Such actions will be based on a streamlined decision making and on a strategic but flexible approach.
The ever changing global economic environment and declining national defence budgets and expenditures require timely and transparent initiatives for evaluating and exploiting appropriate business growth opportunities.
HDS-EAS has provided a detailed strategic and business plan that will fulfill our corporate mission as the main supplier of weapons systems and munitions to the Hellenic Armed Forces while meeting the specific requirements of the National Defense Policy. The same plan also aims to utilize our Company’s competitiveness and industrial capacity through export contracts thus contributing to the overall welfare of the Greek national economy.
The international competitiveness of HDS-EAS is at the core of our corporate mission and it is being achieved through appropriate operational adjustments and increased industrial productivity.
